    Prepare Chicken
    Marinate chicken pieces in lemon juice for 30 minutes.

    Cook Onions
    Slow-cook onion puree in a dry pot until all moisture is gone and they turn purple.

    Add Spices
    Add Niter Kibbeh and Berbere, sautéing for 10 minutes.

    Simmer
    Add chicken and water. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.

    Add Eggs
    Add peeled hard-boiled eggs and simmer for another 10 minutes until eggs are coated.
